This privacy policy sets out how Direct Painting Group 1983 Ltd protects and uses any information that you give us when you use our website or contact us directly.
Direct Painting Group 1983 Ltd is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using our website or contacting us directly, then it will be used only in accordance with this policy. Since we’re committed to protecting your data, we want you to know that we will not sell, rent or trade any of our email lists or customer data with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes.
The provision of your personal data such as name, address, invoice address, email address and contact numbers is required from you to enable us to provide you with a quote or to carry out instructed painting and decorating services.

When someone visits www.surreypaintinggroup.co.uk we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. This is done for a number of reasons, mainly to see the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone.
Mailing Lists
As part of the registration process for our marketing emails, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about stuff/offers you’ve asked us to tell you about; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don’t rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.

We don’t share any data with any third party websites.

Data retention
We may keep your personal data for purposes of contacting and tracing customer references. This record keeping will be used to follow-up and respond to any complaints or warranty claims. In some cases, we’re also legally obliged to obtain information to comply with legal or statutory obligations.
Even though, personal data storage times will vary greatly depending on the working relationship with you (for instance, we regularly work on sites together), your personal data will not be stored for more than 5 years.
In the event that you ask us to stop sending you emails or information in relation to our products, services or promotions, we shall do so.
